This privacy policy sets out how US Camp F.A.C.E uses and protects any information given by the user when browsing this website.

US Camp F.A.C.E is committed to protecting the user’s privacy. Any information the user provides by which one can be identified when using this website will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.

Using this website signifies the user consents to us collecting and using personal data about the user as specified below in accordance with this policy statement. Should we choose to change these terms for any reason, the changes will be posted here so that the users are always kept informed about the collection and use of personal information, and when we disclose it.

1. Explanation of key terms

This privacy statement uses terms defined by the European Directive and Regulation Maker when adopting the General Data Protection Regulation. For a better understanding of this privacy statement, we explain the most important terms below:

Personal data

Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (hereinafter “data subject”). An identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person.

Data subject

Data subject is any identified or identifiable natural person whose personal data are processed by the controller – for example, you as a customer of our company or user of this website.

Processing

Processing is any operation or set of operations which is performed upon personal data, whether or not by automatic means, such as collection, recording, organisation, filing, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure or destruction.

Controller(s)

Controller or controller is the natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body which alone or jointly with others determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data. Put simply, that’s us.

2. Data processed on these web pages

In the following we inform you about the processing of personal data when using this website. Personal data in connection with the use of this website are, for example, name, address, as well as e-mail address and IP address.

As a matter of principle, we only process users’ personal data insofar as this is necessary to provide a functioning website and its content. Furthermore, we collect personal data when you contact us by e-mail.

We also collect personal data when you contact us by e-mail.

2.1 DATA PROCESSING FOR THE PROVISION OF THE WEBSITE AND CREATION OF LOG FILES

Personal data is already processed when you visit our website. For example, in order to transmit and display the Internet pages in your browser, it is necessary to process the IP address of the terminal device you are using. In addition, there is further information about the browser of your terminal device.

We are obliged under data protection law to also guarantee the confidentiality and integrity of the personal data processed with our IT systems.

For this purpose, the following data is logged:

  • IP address of the calling terminal device
  • Operating system of the calling terminal
  • Browser type and version of the calling end device
  • Name of the retrieved file
  • Date and time of access
  • Referring URL

When the IP address is stored, the last two blocks are filled with the digit 0, so that a personal reference can no longer be established from the remaining data.

The storage in log files is done to ensure the functionality of the website. In addition, we use the data on a case-by-case basis to optimise the website and to ensure the security of our information technology systems. An evaluation of the data for marketing purposes does not take place in this context and is also fundamentally excluded by the anonymised IP address.

The legal basis for this data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) DSGVO. Our legitimate interest within the meaning of this legal standard is the operation of this website as well as the implementation of the protection goals of confidentiality, integrity and availability of the data.

2.2 DATA TRANSMISSION IN THE CONTEXT OF AN E-MAIL COMMUNICATION

If you send us an e-mail, we collect and process the personal data that you provide to us in the e-mail. This can be, for example,

  • Your first name,
  • Your surname,
  • Your address,
  • Your telephone number,
  • Your e-mail address and
  • the content of your message or communication, if it contains data relating to you.

This is done in order to be able to communicate with you if you have contacted us, e.g. by answering your questions or providing you with requested information.

The legal basis for this data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) DSGVO. Our legitimate interest within the meaning of this legal standard is communication with customers and interested parties.

The legal basis for this data processing is, depending on the content of your request, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) or Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) DSGVO. If the processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) DSGVO, our legitimate interest within the meaning of this legal standard is communication with customers and interested parties.

3. Purposes of the processing of personal data

If you are in a contractual customer relationship with our company, we process the aforementioned data for the operation of our website and to fulfil contractual obligations towards our customers.

For enquiries from you outside of an active customer contractual relationship, we process the data to carry out pre-contractual measures or on the basis of our legitimate interest for the secure, smooth operation of the website.

4. Information on the storage period of your data

The personal data processed will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of the storage no longer applies. Storage may take place beyond this if this has been provided for by the European or national legislator in Union regulations, laws or other provisions to which the controller is subject. Data will also be blocked or deleted if a storage period prescribed by the aforementioned standards expires, unless there is a necessity for the continued storage of the data for the conclusion or fulfilment of a contract.

If the data is not stored, the data will be deleted.

If the data processing is carried out in connection with an existing customer relationship, we store the data collected here taking into account the overall context and in consideration of our contractual obligations arising from the existing customer relationship.

For enquiries from you outside of an active customer relationship, we store the data until the enquiry is completed, unless further legal requirements prevent this.

5. Recipients of the data collected from you and disclosure of this data

Data that you provide to us via these Internet pages will not be passed on to third parties as a matter of principle. In particular, your data will not be passed on to third parties for their advertising purposes.

We do, however, use service providers for the operation of these Internet pages, such as our Internet service provider. In the process, it may happen that a service provider we use becomes aware of personal data. We select our service providers carefully – especially with regard to data protection and data security – and take all measures required under data protection law for legally permissible data processing.

6. Data processing outside the European Union

We do not process your personal data in a so-called third country outside the European Union.

7. Your rights as a data subject

According to Art. 15 DSGVO, you have the right of access to the personal data concerning you. You can contact our data protection officer or us directly for information at any time.

If you make a request for information that is not in writing, please understand that we may then have to ask you for evidence to prove that you are the person you claim to be.

You also have a right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR) or erasure (Art. 17 GDPR) or to a restriction (Art. 18 GDPR) of processing, insofar as you are entitled to this by law. Furthermore, you have a right to data portability (Art. 20 DSGVO) and, pursuant to Art. 21 DSGVO, a right to object to processing within the scope of the law.

In addition to the rights listed above, and without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, you also have the right to lodge a complaint about the processing of personal data by us with a data protection supervisory authority, in accordance with Art. 77 of the GDPR3
