Scope

Camp F.A.C.E (Fun. Accepting. Connections. Experiences) is a US-style summer camp offering a diverse array of sports, competitions, English/German language interactions, engaging activities, and creative moments. 

 1. Camp Information:

 1.1 The Camp will be held at a school location between a given timeframe which will be made available online and within the Parental Agreement Form.

1.2 The Camp’s daily schedule, sports, activities, and any specific requirements will be communicated to parents in advance. 

 2. Participant Information/Allergies: 

2.1 Any allergies, medical conditions, or special requirements of the child must be disclosed in writing or via the enrollment form prior to the commencement of the camp. 

3. Authorization and Emergency Contact: 

3.1 The Parent authorizes the Camp staff to seek emergency medical treatment for the child in the event of an accident, injury, or illness. 

4. Health and Safety – Insurance: 

4.1 Participants are not insured against health, liability or accident insurance either during the event or on the way to and from the Camps location. 

4.2 Participants must – if applicable, through their legal guardian – be insured privately against health and liability. 

4.3 With registration, the parent or legal guardian(s) confirm that there are no objections to participation in the event from a physical and medical point of view. 

4.4 If the participant is unable to perform certain exercises for physical or medical reasons, these must be communicated.

5. Liability Waiver: 

5.1 The Parent/Legal Guardian acknowledges that participation in camp activities involves inherent risks, and the Camp shall not be held liable for any injuries, losses, or damages. 

5.2 The Parent/Legal Guardian agrees to indemnify and hold the Camp harmless from any claims arising out of the child’s participation in the camp.

6. Media Release: 

6.1 The Parent/Legal Guardian grants the Camp permission to use photographs, videos, and other media featuring the camper for promotional + social media purposes only.

7. Payment and Cancellation Refund Policy: 

7.1 The Parent/Legal Guardian agrees to pay the camp fee in full until 2 weeks after enrollment or latest 1 month before camp begins for late enrollment scenarios. The camper’s enrollment in camp is only considered secure upon the completion of the full payment.

 7.2 The Camp reserves the right to release the camper’s spot if the payment is not received in full by the specified due date. In such a case, any payments made may be subject to the camp’s refund policy. 

7.3 Once Camp has started a refund is no longer possible. 

7.4 Cancellation: In the event that your child is unable to attend, the following cancellation fees will apply:

  • More than 60 days before the start of the camp, there are no cancellation fees. A full refund will be given.
  • Within 60 days before the start of the camp 100% of the camp fees will be incurred. No refund will be given.
  • In case of illness during the camp, the camp can return the fee at their own discretion upon valid reasoning.

7.5 Camp F.A.C.E has the right to cancel the camp if the minimum number of participants is not met (50 campers). The enrollment fees will be reimbursed in full. Camp F.A.C.E will advise of this cancellation no later than 1 month before camp begins.

7.6 Upon camp withdrawal, the participant loses the right to participate in the booked event. 

8. Tips for Counselors: 

8.1 The Parent acknowledges that Tips for Counselors are highly encouraged. 

8.2 Tips for Counselors are given directly to the counselor on the last day of camp. The Parent understands and agrees that this is a customary practice to recognize the hard work and dedication of the counselors. 

8.3 The Parent has the discretion to provide a tip beyond the recommended minimum (10 EUR), and any additional amount is at their discretion. 

8.4 Tips are also welcome for all CITs (Counselors in Training) and can be given directly to them on the last day of camp.

9. Exclusion: 

9.1 Camp F.A.C.E reserves the right to exclude the participant from the event for good cause that lies in the person or conduct of the participant. In cases of serious damage to the reputation or interests of CAMP F.A.C.E, or activities against the liberal democratic basic order law and the principles formulated therein in word, writing, or in any other way. In this case, a refund of the participation fee is excluded.
